I was tasked with designing the plastic components and overall visual designs for the new flip-face helmet. The plastic components comprised of various vents, the peak, base trim, and camera mount section. I worked closely as part of a small team presenting my inspiration and ideas for the visual effect we wished to create with this design and then developing sketches into tape models, 3D printed prototypes, and finally liaising with the manufacturing team. 5 variations of the helmet were created and sold in-store and online.

I thoroughly enjoyed working on this project as I was able to see the process through from start to finish. I enjoyed the creative freedom I was given in designing the visuals of the helmet and how this allowed me to experiment with different looks, ultimately creating a product the team was pleased with.
